Welcome to my homepage. I am Hai-xiao Wang, currently a Van Vleck visiting assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Previously, I received my Ph.D. in mathematics under the supervision of Professor Ioana Dumitriu at the Department of Mathematics, University of California, San Diego. Before that, I received my B.S. in Physics and B.A. in Economics from Peking University

At this moment, I am interested in random matrix theory with its applications in statistics and data science problems. Feel free to contact me if any of my research interests you.
